Pittsboro - There's Plenty

Town History
Pittsboro incorporated into Chatham County in 1787. Pittsboro is nicknamed the Circle City. The Chatham County Courthouse and Historical Museum is located at the center of the town, where US Hwy 15 501 and 64 intersect in a roundabout circle. Pittsboro has a strong community pride and well-preserved history.
